Rev. David Beckmann – Ending Hunger in America

The Bread for the World Institute has issued its 2014 Hunger Report, titled “Ending Hunger in America”. The report says hunger in the U.S. can be eradicated by 2030 if the government focuses on creating jobs, a stronger safety net, better employment conditions, and public-private partnerships to support community initiatives. The institute’s president, Rev. David Beckmann, joins us to discuss the report.
